1. Purpose
This page explains how to request the deletion of personal data processed by the Pangée application, published by Staivium. It supplements the Privacy Policy, which describes all processing in detail.
2. Data concerned
The only personal data kept by the Publisher is the data sent through the 'Help & contact' screen: your email address, the content of your message and, where applicable, the attached image. Using Pangée requires no account, and the Publisher keeps no other personal data on its servers. The contact form on the pangee.[domain] website is a second, separate channel through which the same categories of data (email address, message content) can reach the Publisher, excluding any attached image; it is subject to the same deletion process described below.
3. Data stored on your device
Your GPS position, your usage preferences (language, favourite layers, display settings) and the points you save in 'My points' (with any attached photo) stay on your device and are never transmitted to the Publisher. To erase them, delete the point or photo concerned within the App, uninstall the App, or clear its storage from your device settings.
4. How to request deletion
Write to privacy@staivium.com, preferably from the email address you used in your message, stating that you request the deletion of your data. You can also use the 'Help & contact' screen in the App. The request is free of charge and requires no supporting document, unless there is reasonable doubt about your identity.
5. What is deleted and how quickly
Your request is handled within one (1) month at most: your messages, your email address and any attached images are permanently deleted from the systems of the Publisher and of its processors (Cloudflare, Resend). No data is retained after this processing. Even without a request, this data is in any event deleted no later than twelve (12) months after your initial request has been handled.
